Kerala SSLC exam 2014 results will be declared on 20th April

The result of the Kerala state SSLC / Class 10th board examination for the year 2014 will be declared on 20th April.

 Evaluation of the answer scripts were completed on 12th April 2014. A total of 4.64 lakh students has appeared for the examination in 2014, which was held from 10th to 22nd March 2014.

Around 13,000 teachers were appointed for the evaluation process, which was conducted at 54 locations across the state. Students are advised to visit the website for regular updates.

CBSE Board Exams 2014: Class 10 exam result to be out in mid-May

The results for the Class 10 CBSE board exam might be declared in mid-May. Students who appeared for the examination can have a look at their results on the CBSE official website- www.cbse.nic.in or get their results through telephone or SMS service.

This year the CBSE class 10 board exam was given by 13.28 lakh students, an increase of 5.5 per cent from the 12.59 lakh students in 2013. Among the students appearing for the Class 10 exams this year, 7.93 lakh students were boys and the remaining 5.35 lakh Class 10 students were girls.

The number of differently-able students who appeared for the examination stood at 3180 with 1248 students appearing from Delhi alone. The differently-able include students who are visually impaired, dyslexic, hearing impaired/ dumb, physically handicapped, spastic or autistic.

Also, recently it has come to light that pirated, error filled CBSE textbooks are available in market, putting state of education in the capital in jeopardy. According to a website, some schools in the capital city are involved closely with publishers of the pirated textbooks.

CBSE's vigilance cell conducted an investigation which brought into notice a major racket of gangs which are involved in the publishing of pirated books in various cities and then supply them to Delhi. The probe also brought ahead the scarcity of textbooks created intentionally by certain schools in order to give way to monetary gains to the publishers of the duplicate books. The Board has filed a complaint with the Delhi Police regarding the same...

SSC announces results for LDC/DEO 2013 exam

The results were announced on the official website of the commission on March 14 (Friday).

The candidates can check their results on the official website http://ssc.nic.in/SSC.html

According to the commission, 14374 candidates have qualified provisionally for typing test for LDC and 9960 candidates for skill test for Data Entry Operator in the written part of the examination. These candidates are eligible to be called for Type Test/Data Entry Tests subject to their fulfilling all eligibility conditions.

Skill tests of the eligible candidates will commence from April 1 and will be conclude by April 30, 2014. The qualified candidates can visit the official website to know the schedule for the Type Test/Data Entry Skill Test on computers.
